It is that time of year! We get to give our special people gifts all tied up with a bow and what better way to wrap them up than with your own handmade gift tags?
In this workshop we’ll get to make custom block printed gift tags for the holidays. We’ll have everything you need to print as many as you’ve got time for, and various holiday and winter themed ink colors so there will be something for whatever you want to celebrate.
Festive drinks welcome
This workshop accommodates up to 6 people

Ever have the funniest idea for a t-shirt or hat but it just does-not-exist? Perhaps “JOIN MY CULT” or “I stopped doomscrolling for two hours and all I got was this stupid shirt”? That’s a little longwinded to do in two hours but you know what I mean. Or maybe you have something too boring to warrant making into daily rotation?
Let’s fix it.
In this workshop you will make a block print stamp and we’ll have some good old fashioned fabric ink to print whatever you bring with you.
Bring whatever you would like to print, we’ll have the printing supplies but you provide what’s getting printed on.
Festive beverages welcome

Is there anything more fun than receiving an unexpected piece of mail from a friend?
In this workshop you’ll be making your own block printed postcards to send to your favorite people. You’ll carve an image, print it and then send it on its way. We’ll have USPS stamps and pens on hand and you can even mail them on your way out if you’d like because we just happen to share a building with the Post Office.
Be sure to bring addresses if you want to do the whole shebang in one go.

Hi friends! You know when my grandmas taught me to knit?
I was 4!
You can do it, too. Come and join in, we can learn all the basic skills you need to make YOURSELF a cool looking and very cozy scarf. Maybe impress your grown ups and make them one next :)
This workshop is 5 classes and we’ll learn casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing and casting off. It may sound like a lot but each week we’ll tackle something new and have something to practice over the week between classes.
There will be short video how-tos as support if you need a refresher too.

If you are of a certain age you know what zines are, how to pronounce it, and probably want to make some. If you are not of that certain age and DON’T know what zines are then let’s change that!
In this workshop we’ll learn the classic zine folding and cutting layout and make a few of our own. Then if you want you can make copies and guerrilla zine all of the Upper Valley with whatever your niche topic is even better, mine will be about tea.
It goes against the unofficial rule of zines to charge for this so payment will be by donation only. 2 hour workshops are usually $50 per person but throw down whatever you want to help keep the MAKE SPACE lights on, bonus points if it’s crumpled cash you drop into a trick-or-treating jack-o-lantern I’ll have here as a throwback. We also accept Venmo/PayPal night of.
(I also realize this thumbnail is not a zine, it’s a placeholder)
